Pumpkin Carving Contest Rules

·         All entries must be returned by October 31^st by 9:00am; late entries can be shown but will not be included in the judging.

·         You can provide your own pumpkin if you wish.

·         Pumpkin must include carving, other crafting techniques ok.

·         No open flames are allowed in the Student Center so lit candles inside the pumpkins will not be permitted. Electronic lighting via battery power ok.

·         Any electronics to support the carved pumpkin must be battery powered. We are not accountable for providing power or lighting with your pumpkin.

·         Judging evaluation criteria

o   Artistic carving effort demonstrated in entry.

o   Originality of entry.

o   Amount of effort, skill, and overall work invested in entry.

·         Have fun!

Pumpkins will be on display October 31^st until 4:00pm. At which time you can pick up your pumpkin and take it home to enjoy.
